Coach leather painting
This weekend I got the call to leather paint for Coach handbags. Coach have opened a new store on the Brompton Road, and it was wonderful! For the whole opening weekend they were serving up free coffee and customisation by yours truly. I was painting the leather Tabby bags and not one, but two lucky winners got to walk out with a painted Jo Bird x Coach original.
Whilst not painting the Tabby bags I was kept busy customising purchases and pre existing Coach items with cherries, baby deer, Rexi*their beloved dinosaur, and fruit! The brief was colourful and cheery so I had a blast designing all the things I’d love to see painted up, including some whacky mushrooms, lightening bolts and even pretzels (since Coach hails from America!) The customers were brilliant and thoroughly enjoyed myself and the coffee on tap to keep me painting all day.
