They say never meet your idols but in this case meeting Drew Barrymore was exactly as I hoped. A gorgeous lady inside and out, I had the pleasure of drawing her at her Flower Eyewear launch in London.

Drew hosted a breakfast meeting and I was asked to draw charming style bloggers and fashion editors to promote Flower Sunglasses landing in the UK. The range is to be released in Asda and I can report all very reasonable and on trend….and I might add Drew loved her Jo Bird original illustration.

A few illustrations I made for a project set by Fida in collaboration with Missoni.
Out of my comfort zone as I never studied fashion, and thought I’d give it a try, lots to learn, and it was fascinating seeing other designers and illustrators work. Thanks for Beatrix Menendez for her time spent reviewing and feeding back on the work.

I was inspired by the Italian mountains and the cable cars 🚠 connecting them. It was a nice day dream in an otherwise completely bonkers busy March! I’ll be able to post some of the work very soon……. 🐝

So after a two week hiatus full of kids and Easter shenanigans I’ve enjoyed a jam packed two days @marcjacobs in-store painting onto Marc Jacob’s Totes.

Customers were encouraged to have me paint their pets or their initials. In there for the next two Saturdays 1-6pm painting away.
