Dog portraits for Marc Jacobs

Woof, what a job! Combining luxury handbags and the British love of pooches this job was a huge success. I was commissioned to hand paint onto the leather handbags the pet portrait of the customer’s beloved animal. Since that mainly meant pooches I got to meet lots of happy four legged customers.

The owners selected a Marc Jacobs bag in a colour and size that they loved and then we found a photo of their animal in a flattering angle that I painted on to the leather bag (essential since dogs are not known for sitting still for long stretches.)

I also got to meet some paw influencers who were delightful and very happy to have their photo taken. Here are some of the many portraits I painted.
