The Tory Burch tour continues….this time I painted onto leather handbags in store for Dubai, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Abu Dhabi. Customers chose from vibrant palm trees, flowering lemons, white exotic birds and a floral alphabet.
The Lee bag came in three different colours and sizes and I think I managed to draw the icon onto every variable. The Middle East was a great place to visit, work, shop and eat and I met some lovely characters that let me customise their purchases; bespoke bags for hot summer days.
They say never meet your idols but in this case meeting Drew Barrymore was exactly as I hoped. A gorgeous lady inside and out, I had the pleasure of drawing her at her Flower Eyewear launch in London.
Drew hosted a breakfast meeting and I was asked to draw charming style bloggers and fashion editors to promote Flower Sunglasses landing in the UK. The range is to be released in Asda and I can report all very reasonable and on trend….and I might add Drew loved her Jo Bird original illustration.
Painting on to luxury leather handbags, live in-store was a new experience for me. Tory Burch flew me out to their Munich and Rome stores for a weekend at a time and I drew from a selection of pretty animals. Once the customer chose their animal I painted this icon onto their bag and they got to walk out with a gorgeous bespoke Tory Burch handbag the same day.
It was a lovely experience to be surrounded by sumptuous clothes and shoes whilst getting to know the international, delightful and loyal Tory customer’s. I had a sneak peak into the upcoming collections, based on the Le Petit Prince, and they were beautiful.
Beautiful jewels from the hands of Bina Goenka coupled with a lovely breakfast at Annabel’s made for a very happy and relaxed drawing environment. Bina Goenka, known for redefining creativity and luxury launched her Pret collection with Net A Porter and this event introduced the new range. I wish I could have bought the lot!
Red Valentino Live illustration
London, Rome, Milan; a mini travelling tour drawing in store at Red Valentino. Showcasing the new looks for the season ahead, clients and style bloggers turned out in force modelling the latest looks which I drew for them to take home.
Such beautiful clothes and handbags, and each a stunning store to draw in surrounded by blush pink velvet. A dream job!
Live Drawing in Jo Malone London
I drew scenes of London onto Jo Malone gift boxes when the snow was falling outside the store and shoppers were kept happy by the wonderful smells from candles all about us. A lovely way to spend a Sunday!
Live illustration at Yolke
Yolke, luxury silk womenswear brand, hosted a dinner for some movers and shakers and invited me along to capture the evening. In between mouthful of delicious food and trying on the new collection I got to draw the ladies.
Sitters then tagged me in on their social media sites by giving their bespoke illustration some context. It’s lovely seeing these artworks given pride of place.
Live Fashion Drawing for The Lady Garden
I was asked to live draw style portraits of guests attending a lunch, to celebrate the 5th Birthday of The Lady Garden Foundation. Held in the sumptuous surroundings at Fortnum & Mason, it was a busy and well attended charity lunch and auction.
The Lady Garden was set up to raise awareness of female cancers and get us all talking about and paying more attention to these silent killers. Tamara Beckwith, one of the founders, delivered a heartfelt speech about how this cause personally effected her.

As the title suggests I appear at your event and lend some sparkle by drawing live in front of your audience. You dream of it and I will draw it for you. Whether your product is high end fashion, perfume, luxury keepsake boxes or Christmas goods I can capture these in a drawing to gift to the customer.
I paint using soft brush pens and ink onto watercolour stock, but I can also paint on to leather and canvas style tote bags.
