The Cadogan Arms
The long awaited reopening of The Cadogan Arms saw a complete overhaul of this beloved pub in Chelsea. The attention to detail within the renovation was mind blowing and I was honoured to be asked to illustrate their logo. Traditionally, logo design is the preserve of graphic designers but this brief was to dial up elements of old British crests and required much more of a bold illustration.
With the Cadogan’s focus on this being a British pub I was asked to draw British produce – fish, hen, turnips, cabbage, hops all went into the mix! It was great fun researching and having to arrange all these items, but what was most thrilling was actually turning up at the pub and seeing my logo painted up large scale on the side of this handsome building. The food was incredible and oh if I only lived closer, I’d definitely adopt this as my local!
