Live style portraits

Here is a selection of the many style portraits I have drawn of people for clients over the years. Each person takes about 10 minutes to draw and often they will stand and pose and we have a little chat.

Occasionally, I capture their likeness from a photo if they really want to crack on with the party, though I usually find it’s a nice meditative moment in the day/evening. People can be shy at first but the end of the session there is usually a queue of people wanting to be drawn. My illustrations strive to flatter and capture the fashionable element of my sitters.
