‘May these shoes lead to new adventures’ was my brief for a wall in Harrods children’s shoe department for Kurt Geiger.  I had a thin wall to make an impact on, that sat behind the cash register on the 4^th floor in this prestigious department store. The client and I decided on wallpaper as the end output due to the late closing hours of Harrods. That way more time could be spent on the studio for me to dream up a whimsical woodland fairy-tale scene that included dancing frogs, ugly bug ball invites, bow ties on deer and beautiful princess swans floating about.

The whole space was then further enhanced with a blue neon sign lighting up the phrase, ‘may these shoes lead to new adventures…..’ I hope the children that shoe shop enjoy spotting all the details in the scene whilst waiting to try on pretty shoes.
